Returns & Refunds

NorCal Beauty Supply – Return & Refund Policy (California-Compliant)

At NorCal Beauty Supply, we want you to feel confident shopping with us. If you’re not fully satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help.

1. Eligibility for Returns
We accept returns on most unused, unopened, and resale-ready items within 10 days of the delivery date.
To be eligible for a return:

  • Item must be unused and in original packaging

  • Seals, tags, and accessories must be intact

  • Proof of purchase is required

Items returned beyond 10 days may not be accepted.
2. Non-Returnable Items
Due to health and hygiene standards, the following items cannot be returned:

  • Opened or used cosmetics, skincare, or haircare products

  • Final sale or clearance items

  • Gift cards

  • Personalized or special-order items

California Exception:
If an item is defective, unsafe, or not as advertised, it may still qualify for a refund or replacement under California law, even if opened.
3. California Disclosure Requirement
California law requires retailers to clearly post any return policy that offers 7 days or fewer for returns or no returns at all.
Because our return window is 10 days, no additional disclosure signage is required. However, this policy is clearly posted online for transparency.
If this policy changes to 7 days or fewer, or becomes “All Sales Final,” California law requires clear notice before purchase.
4. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery and include:

  • Your order number

  • Clear photos of the issue

We will either:

  • Replace the item, or

  • Issue a refund to the original payment method

California customers retain full rights under the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act and other consumer protection laws, regardless of return restrictions.
5. Return Process
To initiate a return:

  1. Email support@norcalbeautysupply.com with:

    • Order number

    • Item(s) you wish to return

    • Reason for return

  2. If approved, you will receive return instructions and a Return Authorization (RA) number.

  3. Ship the item within 7 days of RA approval.

Returns sent without authorization may not be accepted.
6. Return Shipping Costs

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping on standard returns (e.g., change of mind).

  • If the return is due to our error (damaged, defective, or incorrect item), we will cover return shipping or provide a prepaid label.

We recommend using a trackable shipping method. NorCal Beauty Supply is not responsible for lost or delayed return shipments.
7. Refunds

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method

  • Please allow 5–10 business days after the return is received and inspected

  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error

California Gift Card Refund Rule:
Unused gift card balances of $10 or less may be redeemed for cash upon request, as required by California law.
8. Exchanges
Exchanges are subject to product availability. If the requested item is unavailable, a refund or store credit will be offered.
9. Gifts
Gift items may be eligible for store credit when returned by the recipient, provided the item was marked as a gift at purchase.
10. California Consumer Rights Notice
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under California law, including:

  • The right to a refund or replacement for defective goods

  • The right to accurate product descriptions and advertising

  • Warranty protections under the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act

If a product violates safety or labeling laws, customers may have remedies even if the item is marked “Final Sale.”
